Description

Mondays in April | 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. PST Step away from the "busy" and into your body. This 4-week series is a dedicated container for Mindful Yin Yoga—a quiet, meditative practice that targets the deeper connective tissues (fascia and ligaments) through long, supported postures. What to Expect: Deep Release ~ By holding shapes for 3–5 minutes, we allow the nervous system to shift from "fight or flight" into a state of rest and repair. It helps "unstick" the body, improving circulation and joint health. Mindful Presence ~ This isn't just about flexibility; it’s a workout for your awareness. We’ll practice observing thoughts and sensations with kindness and curiosity. It provides a rare hour of silence and permission to simply be, exactly as you are. A Gentle Wind-Down ~ Designed specifically for Monday evenings, this practice creates the perfect transition into a restful night’s sleep. Maximum of 12 spaces to keep this offering small and intimate.

Booking Policy: Registration Your spot is confirmed once full payment is received. If you select 'in person' for payment, please etransfer to miranda@restuncovered.com to secure your spot. You’ll receive an automated confirmation email with class details and reminder emails prior to your session. Cancellations & Refunds 7+ days before class: Credit toward a future class. Within 7 days: Credit may be offered, or you’re welcome to offer your spot to a friend. Within 48 hours: No refunds or credits. If you wish to transfer your spot within 7 days, or if you are ill within 48 hours of class, please email connect@restuncovered.com. Participation Policy: Come As You Are Mindful Yin Yoga invites softness, slowness, and presence. There is no expectation to look or show up in any particular way, simply arrive as you are. Wear clothing you can move and rest comfortably in, and bring any supportive items you enjoy: blankets, cushions, bolsters, blocks, or a journal. Care for Yourself First You are encouraged to honour your body and capacity throughout class. Feel free to adjust, shift, pause, or step away as needed. This class is non‑clinical and not a substitute for medical or mental health care. If you have accessibility needs, please reach out ahead of time to discuss. You are the steward of your own body and experience; please move, rest, and choose in ways that honour your needs. Rest Uncovered holds the space with care, but cannot be responsible for the choices you make within it. Confidentiality & Respect Whether online or in person, this is a space for gentleness, autonomy, and grounded presence. What is shared in class stays within the group. Please engage with yourself and others with respect, curiosity, and care. Any disruptive behaviour, disrespect toward others, or disregard for the facilitator’s guidance may result in being asked to leave without refund. Technology Phones are to be silenced and kept away unless needed for accessibility reasons. Online: Please ensure you have stable internet and keep your camera on with your body in as full views as possible. This helps to offer suggestions in certain postures. Photos or recordings are not permitted unless explicitly invited by the facilitator. Agreement: By booking and attending a Mindful Yin Yoga class, you acknowledge and agree to these policies. They exist to support a grounded, restorative, and emotionally spacious experience for everyone involved.
